Hey friends … the best way to slim down without missing on the right nutrients is by focusing on your diet. A great addition to it is homemade smoothies. These blend of fresh fruits and vegetables are the force for low calorie yet nutrient dense ingredients that keeps you satiated for long. A good mix of proteins, carbs, and good fats along with vitamins and nutrients should be used to create a well balanced smoothie !!

I would love to share my few simple & yummy recipes of smoothies with my readers …!! do try it…

 

  1.  Healthy Green smoothie

Ingredients-

  1. 1cup baby spinach
  2. 1/2 cup bottle gourd or cucumber.
  3. curd – 1/2 cup
  4. mintleaves – handful
  5. rocksalt – 1tsp
  6. cuminseeds powder – 1/4tsp
  7. ice cubes – 1cup

Method – Place all the ingredients in a blender , add ice cubes and blend until smooth …enjoy !! you can have it in the morning breakfast to detox your body and helps in weightloss.

 

 

2.  Delight Smoothie

Ingredients –

  1. puffed amaranth – 1/2 cup
  2. low fat milk – 1 cup
  3. banana fresh or frozen – 1/2
  4. Apple – 1 chopped into pieces
  5. dates – 1 chopped
  6. flaxseeds – 1 tsp
  7. chia seeds – 1 tsp
  8. melon seeds – 1tbsp

Method – blend all the ingredients till smooth and enjoy..

You can drink this smoothie post workout as it is rich in proteins, omega 3 fatty acids, good fats & fiber. you can also add 1tsp protein powder for an extra energy boost !!

 

 

 

3.  Cinnamon Roll Smoothie

Ingredients –

  1. 1/4 cup – oats
  2. 1/2 cup – yoghurt
  3. 1 cup almond milk
  4. handful – pecans
  5. vanilla powder – 1/4 tsp
  6. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  7. ice as desired

Method – blend all the ingredients to smooth consistency.

you can have this smoothie during breakfast or lunch or dinner as its rich in essential nutrients & packed with oats fibre .

 

 

4.  Detox Smoothie

Ingredients –

  1. frozen banana – 1/2
  2. spinach – 1 cup
  3. kiwi chopped – 1/2 cup
  4. lemon juice – 3tbsp
  5. fresh ginger – 1 tbsp
  6. mint leaves- handful
  7. blueberries – 1/4 cup
  8. cucumber – 1/4 cup
  9. coconut water – 1/2 cup

Method – Blend all till smooth consistency , add ice cubes if required…this detox smoothie can be consumed before breakfast on an empty stomach.

This Smoothie is packed with goodness of Spinach , Cucumber, berries etc which provides you Vitamin A, calcium, Iron and other essential nutrients.

 

 

5.  Refreshing Smoothie

Ingredients –

  1. chopped cucumber – 1
  2. chopped green apple – 1
  3. beetroot chopped – 1/2 cup
  4. carrots chopped – 1 cup
  5. lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
  6. flaxseeds – 2 tsp
  7. Chia seeds – 1 tsp
  8. ice cubes – as required.

Method – Blend all the ingredients until smooth . garnish this with ground flaxseeds powder for extra crunch !!

You can consume this smoothie in the evening to feel refreshed, beetroots in this smoothie helps to improve your haemoglobin level in blood & boosts immune system.

 

6.  Morning magic Smoothie

Ingredients

  1. cold coffee – 1cup
  2. kiwi – 1/2 cup
  3. strawberry chopped – 1cup
  4. watermelon pieces -3/4 cup
  5. yoghurt – 1/3 cup
  6. flaxseed powder – 1 tbsp

Method – blend all the ingredients till smooth.

Consume this smoothie during morning time as its rich in carbs, proteins & vitamins, to give you a boost for the day !!

 

 

7.  Mango punch Smoothie

Ingredients

  1. Mango pieces – 1 cup
  2. raspberries pieces – 1 cup
  3. banana – 1/2 cup
  4. Milk – 2 cups
  5. ice cubes – as required

Method – Blend all the ingredients to smooth consistency & enjoy 🙂

you can have this yummy mango punch smoothie in breakfast , lunch or even dinner as you like !! its rich in vitamins &  minerals also packed with goodness of mango to make you feel delighted !!

 

Please note – You should consider the ingredients you are adding to your smoothies carefully. Elements rich in proteins, fibres and those that can boost your metabolism will speed up weightloss.
